Step 3: Purchasing Materials

After you have chosen the contractor you will use, they should provide you with exact measurements and a list of items you will need to purchase. If you have already purchased some of the materials that will be installed in your bathroom remodel the designer and/or contractor should design and give you an estimate that will be in line with the materials you have. Letting them know in advance is crucial because it will allow them to determine with you how these materials must flow into the plan of your dreams. If you do not have any materials or if you have purchased some, it is important to make sure you are given exact quantities, specs and measurements for the items you will need to purchase for your bathroom remodel. This is a time consuming process for the contractor/designer but they should be willing to do it if they are performing the high quality work you want.
