Step 6: Make sure your Dreams Come True

At the end of every project there are several loose ends that must be tied up. These are called punch list items that require minimal effort and labor for the contract to be completed. Examples include, replacing a door handle, touch up painting, hanging towel bar mounts, etc..  Make sure that a contractor completes all of these items before you pay the final bill. Sometimes contractors can jump to another job and easily forget the details of the prior jobs. Also make sure you verify that the work was performed and that your bathroom became the dream you desired.
